Most junk removal companies won't drive out to a barn. We're based on twenty acres in Lathrop with a 40x60 barn of our own, so it's ordinary work for us. What's Included
We clear what's in the building and what's stacked behind it: old implements and parts, fence wire and posts, feed sacks, buckets, tires, scrap metal and sheet tin, lumber and pallets, broken furniture stored in a loft, appliances, batteries, and general junk. Loose scrap gets sorted as we go so the metal goes to the right place. We work off a flat quote based on what's there and how close we can get the truck, and we sweep or rake the floor before we pull out.
Who This Service Is For
Families settling an estate or a farm transition, new owners who bought the place as-is, landowners prepping ground to lease or sell, and anyone who's been meaning to deal with the back of the machine shed since they took the place over. Flat-Rate Pricing, Confirmed Up Front
Every ClearPath job is quoted as a flat rate before anyone lifts a thing. Text photos or call and you'll usually have a number within minutes. What we agree to is what you pay — no hourly meter, no add-ons at the end, and no charge for the quote itself. We're locally owned and insured, and the person who answers the phone is the person who shows up.
Responsible Cleanup
Farm cleanouts are heavy on metal, and metal is the part that recycles well — sheet tin, implements, wire, posts, and scrap all go to a scrap yard rather than a landfill. Tires go to a proper tire disposal facility. What we can't take is the chemical shelf: pesticides, herbicides, old fuel, solvents, and pressurized tanks need a licensed route, and the Missouri Department of Natural Resources runs collection events for agricultural chemicals that we can point you toward.
Frequently Asked Questions
Can your truck get back to the barn?
Usually. We run a single non-CDL box truck rather than a semi, so gravel lanes, field roads, and gates are fine in dry conditions. After a wet week we may ask you to stage material closer to the road — we'll talk it through before we come out.
Do you take old tires?
Yes. Tires have a disposal fee attached wherever they go, so they're priced separately, but we'll take them rather than leaving you with the pile.
There's a lot of scrap metal. Does that lower my price?
It can. If the load is heavy on clean metal we factor the scrap value into the quote. We'll be straight with you about it — most farm loads have enough mixed junk that the scrap offsets part of the cost rather than covering it.
What about the chemicals and old fuel in the corner?
Those we can't haul, and neither can anyone else without the right license. Set them aside and we'll take everything around them, then point you to the nearest agricultural chemical collection or household hazardous waste site.
Do you go outside Clinton and Caldwell County?
Yes — Clay, Ray, Platte, DeKalb, and Livingston County are all regular territory, and we'll travel further for a full-day job. See our service areas or just call and ask.
