What's Included
Full teardown and haul-out. Pockets and rails come off, the felt comes up, and the slate comes off in sections — a three-piece slate runs about 150 to 250 pounds per section, which is the part that requires real crew rather than enthusiasm. The frame comes apart, everything goes up the stairs, and the room gets swept. Cues, racks, balls, and the light fixture over the table go too if you want them gone.

If the table is worth keeping and you want it moved rather than hauled, say so — that's a different job and sometimes a different company, and we'll be honest about which.

Responsible Cleanup
Tables in good condition are worth trying to place before they're broken up, and we'll make the attempt if you want us to. Otherwise slate goes as construction material, the frame goes as wood waste, and metal hardware is recycled. Slate is heavy and inert — it's the least of the disposal problem, it just has to be carried.
Frequently Asked Questions
Do you need to know if it's slate?
It helps a lot. A slate table and an MDF table are two very different jobs. If you don't know, lift a corner of the felt near a pocket or send us a photo of the underside of the table and we'll tell you.
It's in a finished basement with a turn at the bottom of the stairs. Problem?
No. That describes most of them. The table comes apart before it goes anywhere, so the pieces make the turn even when the assembled table never could.
Will you patch the carpet or floor underneath?
No, that's a flooring job. But we'll tell you what we find under there before we haul anything, and if the carpet is coming out anyway we can take it — see carpet and flooring removal.
Can you take the bar and stools too?
Yes, and it's usually the same trip. Basement bars, stools, arcade cabinets, and old TVs come out with the table if you want the room clear.
