What's Included
We empty it, take it apart and haul everything off. Most sheds come down rather than come out whole — roof first, then walls, then the floor and any framing, cut into pieces that load without dragging anything across your yard. Metal sheds are faster than wood and sharper to handle; resin sheds break down easily but are almost entirely disposal. If it is anchored to a concrete pad, we can pull the anchors and leave the pad, or talk through removing the pad as a separate job. The contents go on the same load if you want them gone, which is usually the case.

Responsible Cleanup
Metal roofing, siding, framing and hardware go to scrap. Clean untreated lumber gets separated where the load allows. Treated lumber, shingles and composite panels are disposal — there is no honest recycling stream for most of it. Anything in the shed worth donating gets pulled out first rather than crushed with the structure. We rake and sweep the footprint before we leave, because a shed teardown produces an impressive amount of small debris and screws, and nobody wants to find those with a mower.
Frequently Asked Questions
Do I need to empty it first?
No. Tell us what is going and what is not, and we will handle the rest. If there is paint, fuel or chemicals inside, flag those — household hazardous waste needs a hazardous waste facility rather than our truck.
Do I need a permit?
For a detached accessory structure in most of our service area, usually not. Requirements vary by city and by whether utilities run to the building, so if power or water was ever run out there, check with your city first.
Can you take the concrete pad too?
Sometimes, as a separate scope. Concrete is heavy and priced differently from a shed teardown, so we quote it on its own rather than folding it in and surprising you.
