Playset & Swing Set Removal

The kids outgrew it four summers ago and now it's the thing you mow around. ClearPath dismantles and hauls off wooden playsets, metal swing sets, forts, slides, and climbing frames across the Kansas City metro and Northland — usually in a couple of hours, and always for a price you approve first.

What's Included

We break the set down on site so nothing has to be dragged across the yard in one piece. Swings, slides, climbing walls, monkey bars, tarps, and canopies come off first, then the towers and decks, then the posts. Anchors and ground stakes come out with them. Everything gets loaded and hauled the same visit. We rake the area afterward, including the hardware and small parts that hide in the mulch — and if you want the pea gravel or rubber mulch base gone too, say so when you get your quote and we'll include it.

Who This Service Is For

This is a job for parents whose kids have aged out, buyers who inherited a playset with the house, sellers clearing the yard before photos, and anyone whose wooden fort has gone soft enough to be a liability. Metal sets from the 70s and 80s and big cedar play systems both come apart fine — the cedar ones just take longer. If the set is anchored in concrete or backs onto a fence line, mention it up front.

Flat-Rate Pricing, Confirmed Up Front

Every ClearPath job is quoted as a flat rate before anyone lifts a thing. Text photos or call and you'll usually have a number within minutes. What we agree to is what you pay — no hourly meter, no add-ons at the end, and no charge for the quote itself. We're locally owned and insured, and the person who answers the phone is the person who shows up.

Responsible Cleanup

Metal frames, slides, and hardware go to scrap recycling. If the set is still in usable shape, tell us before we start — we'd rather see it go to a family or a local nonprofit than get broken down, and we'll make the call before the first bolt comes off. What's left goes to proper disposal.

Frequently Asked Questions

Can you donate the playset instead of scrapping it?

Sometimes. If it's structurally sound and can come apart without damage, we'll try to place it. Most sets we're called about are past that point, but it costs nothing to ask, and we'll tell you honestly which yours is.

How long does it take?

A metal swing set is often under an hour. A large wooden play system with a fort, slide, and swing beam usually runs two to four hours.

Do you fill in the holes?

We backfill post holes with the spoil and rake it level. We don't reseed or sod, but you won't be left with open holes.

Can you take the trampoline at the same time?

Yes — trampolines and playsets usually go together, and doing both in one trip is cheaper than two visits.
