What's Included
Twin, full, queen, king, California king, memory foam, hybrid, pillow-top, box spring — size and type do not change the job much, though a king and a two-piece box spring are a different carry from a twin. We bag or wrap the mattress before it leaves the bedroom, carry it out without scuffing your walls on the turns, and take the frame and box spring with it if those are going too. Apartments and townhomes are a regular call — narrow stairwells and tight landings are the usual obstacle, and a king mattress that went in before the railing went up sometimes has to come out on edge. We bring straps and moving blankets rather than improvising with what is in your garage.

Responsible Cleanup
A mattress is mostly recyclable once it is taken apart: steel springs, foam, cotton batting and a wood frame in the box spring. Clean mattresses in good condition get routed toward reuse where there is somewhere for them to go, and the rest go for breakdown and recycling rather than straight to the landfill wherever that option exists for the load. Volume matters here — it is one of the bulkiest things in a house for its weight, which is exactly why it clogs up landfills and exactly why it is worth separating.

What if the mattress has bed bugs?

Do you take the box spring and bed frame too?
Yes, and it is cheaper to take the whole set in one trip than to call twice. Metal frames, wooden slats, headboards and adjustable bases all go on the same load.
Can you come today?
