What's Included
Drain, dismantle, haul. Almost no hot tub leaves a backyard in one piece — a full-size spa shell will not clear a side gate, so we cut it down on site into sections that can be carried out and loaded. The cabinet, insulation, cover, cover lifter, steps and equipment pack all go on the same load. If the tub sits on a deck, we can usually work around the deck, or take the deck too if it was coming out anyway. In-ground and partially sunken installations get assessed before we quote, because the surround is the variable.

Access is what moves the number, not the size of the tub — a spa with a clear path to the driveway is a different job from one behind a locked gate with a sixty-foot carry through a side yard. We look at the tub and the route out on site and give you an accurate quote before we start.
Responsible Cleanup
Hot tubs are a difficult item to recycle honestly, so we do not pretend otherwise. The frame, pump, heater and jets are metal and go to scrap. The acrylic shell and foam insulation largely do not have a recycling stream, and those go to disposal. What we can control is that nothing is left behind — no foam crumbs across your lawn, no hardware in the grass, no section of shell leaned against the fence for a week. The pad or deck footprint is swept before we leave.
Frequently Asked Questions
Do I need to drain it first?
It helps, and it takes hours, so start the night before if you can. If it is still full when we arrive we will drain it, but you are paying for that time and the water has to go somewhere sensible.
What about the electrical?
If the tub is hard-wired to a 220-volt disconnect — most are — have an electrician disconnect it at the panel before we come. We will not open the panel, and you should not want a junk crew to.
Can you take the deck, fence or pergola at the same time?
Yes, and it is meaningfully cheaper in one trip. Plenty of our hot tub jobs come with a deck or a run of fence going at the same time.
