Storm Damage Cleanup

Kansas City weather makes this a service whether anyone wants it or not. Straight-line winds in the spring, hail through the summer, and the odd wet basement in between. ClearPath clears storm debris across the metro and Northland — the yard, the roof pile, the fence that came down, and whatever the water got to — and we move fast, because right after a storm is when it matters.

What's Included

Downed limbs and whole trees once they're on the ground, fence sections and posts, blown-off shingles and torn siding, gutters, damaged patio furniture and grills, collapsed sheds and carports, ruined play sets and trampolines, and the water-damaged contents from a flooded basement — furniture, carpet, boxes, drywall debris. We separate what your insurance adjuster may still need to see if you tell us up front, so photograph everything before you call anyone.

Who This Service Is For

Homeowners after a bad night, landlords and property managers with several properties hit at once, acreage owners with a windbreak down or a barn roof peeled back, and contractors who need a site cleared before repairs can start. Northland properties are fastest for us since we're based in Lathrop — when a system rolls through Clinton and Clay County we're usually already close.

Flat-Rate Pricing, Confirmed Up Front

Every ClearPath job is quoted as a flat rate before anyone lifts a thing. Text photos or call and you'll usually have a number within minutes. What we agree to is what you pay — no hourly meter, no add-ons at the end, and no charge for the quote itself. We're locally owned and insured, and the person who answers the phone is the person who shows up.

Responsible Cleanup

Clean wood and brush go to a mulching or composting facility. Metal roofing, gutters, and fence wire are recycled as scrap. Shingles and treated lumber go as construction debris. What we can't take is the part people forget in the mess: fuel cans and chemicals from a wrecked shed, and anything electrical still connected. If a line is down, that's the utility's call before it's anyone else's.

Frequently Asked Questions

How fast can you get here after a storm?

Fast, but be realistic with us and we'll be realistic with you. After a widespread event everyone calls at once. We'll tell you honestly where you land in the day rather than promising a window we can't hit. Northland properties are usually first because we're closest.

Should I wait for my insurance adjuster?

Photograph everything before anyone touches it, and ask your adjuster whether they need to see it in place. Some claims are fine with photos; some aren't. Tell us what has to stay and we'll work around it rather than hauling off your evidence.

Do you take down damaged trees?

No, and be careful who does. A leaning or partially fallen tree is a job for an insured tree service with a climber. Once it's safely on the ground, we haul it. We'll say so rather than taking on something that belongs to somebody with different equipment.

My basement flooded. Can you clear it out?

Yes. Water-damaged furniture, carpet, boxes, and drywall debris all come out — see also basement cleanouts. If there's active mold on the structure you'll want a remediation contractor first; we'll tell you plainly if that's what we're looking at.
