Light Demolition & Tear-Out
Most demo jobs are two jobs: someone tears it out, and then somebody has to make the pile disappear. ClearPath does both. We handle light interior demolition and structural tear-out across the Kansas City metro and Northland — the swinging and the hauling on the same visit, with the debris gone before we leave rather than sitting in the driveway waiting on a second call.

What's Included
Kitchen and bathroom cabinets, countertops and vanities, tubs, showers and surrounds, non-structural interior walls, drop ceilings, paneling and trim, built-in shelving, closet systems, old fixtures, flooring down to the subfloor, and small outbuildings. Decks, fences, sheds and above-ground pools each have their own page. We haul it as we go, sweep the space, and hand it back ready for the next trade.
Who This Service Is For
Homeowners starting a kitchen or bath remodel, flippers and investors gutting a property, landlords reclaiming a unit, and contractors who'd rather have a crew handle demo and disposal than tie up their own people on it. If the job produces debris steadily over several weeks rather than in one push, a dumpster rental on site is usually cheaper — we'll tell you which one fits.
Flat-Rate Pricing, Confirmed Up Front
Every ClearPath job is quoted as a flat rate before anyone lifts a thing. Text photos or call and you'll usually have a number within minutes. What we agree to is what you pay — no hourly meter, no add-ons at the end, and no charge for the quote itself. We're locally owned and insured, and the person who answers the phone is the person who shows up.
Responsible Cleanup
Cabinets in decent shape are worth donating and we'll try, since a usable kitchen set is exactly what a restore-type nonprofit wants. Metal, appliances, and fixtures are recycled. Clean lumber and drywall go as construction debris. What we don't do is guess about the old stuff: pre-1980s homes can have asbestos in flooring, mastic, and pipe insulation, and lead paint on trim. If that's a possibility, get it tested first — we won't disturb it and neither should anyone else without a license.
Frequently Asked Questions
Where's the line between light demolition and real demolition?
We do non-structural, hand-tool-and-sawzall work: cabinets, interior partition walls, fixtures, flooring, small outbuildings. We don't take out load-bearing walls, foundations, or anything needing an excavator or an engineer's stamp. If your job is on the wrong side of that line we'll say so plainly and you'll have lost nothing but a phone call.
Do you pull permits?
No, and most light interior work doesn't need one — but that depends on your city and on what you're removing. Permits are the property owner's responsibility. If you're touching anything structural, electrical, or plumbed, check with your municipality before we start.
Can you do demo and haul in the same visit?
That's the whole point of the service. We tear out, load as we go, and leave with the debris. One crew, one flat price, one day in most cases.
Will you cap the plumbing or electrical?
No. Lines need to be capped and circuits killed by a licensed plumber or electrician before we open anything up. Tell us what's already been done when you book so we plan around it.
